Hello world!

Welcome to my official blog site!

My name is Eric delos Santos. I’m a businessman, but I used to work as the Head of Research and Development for a multinational appliance manufacturing company. I spent a good 17 years there before I decided to do things on my own.

I learned a lot about the corporate life and how a business is run during that time and I felt it was time for me run my own business. I wanted to be my own boss, earn from my own company’s profits and not on a fixed monthly income.

It took me a long time before I finally decided to leave my “comfort zone” and start out on my own. I was brought up thinking that I should go to school, study hard, get a degree and look for a stable job and stick with it until I retire… supposedly, so that I will be able to “secure” my future.

So before I quit my regular job, I started to research on material that could help me understand how to run my own business. I didn’t want to start empty handed… after all, I had a wife and 3 kids to support.

In the early part of 2006, I read a book by Robert Kiyosaki, entitled “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. Boy, was I in for a surprise! Everything I knew about the whole process of making a living and job security suddenly didn’t make any sense.

I’ve always thought that I had job security… working for a top 500 multinational corporation… apparently “having a stable job is the most unstable thing in the world”. Sounds crazy huh? Well I thought so too at first, but after reading the entire book, I think it made perfect sense. It’s a great book and you’ll learn a lot of things they don’t teach us in school.

I highly recommend it… let’s just say the book taught me to look at the world from a different perspective… one that could bring me “SECURITY” and “FINANCIAL FREEDOM”. Now that I’m writing about it, I think the most important thing it did for me was… give me a CHOICE! I realized that the world I’m moving around is just a tiny part of a whole.

There are a lot of choices available for each and every one of us. All we have to do is “reach out” to the opportunities that abound.

To cut the long story short… I quit my job in July of 2006 and JMP Philippines Packaging Sales Corporation was born. It’s a company that sells packaging and cargo protection products . We cater to companies who ship their products to different countries. We currently supply desiccants, paper and plastic slip sheets, dunnage air bags, stretch films, and plastic pallets to various companies. I won’t talk about our company here in detail but if somehow you want to know more about it, you can go to our website, http://www.jmpphils.com. I’ll be making a section, in the near future, that will explain our business in detail… for people who might be interested.

You never know right? Don’t you just love the internet! Here I am making a blog and advertising stuff at the same time. It’s really great! I’ve been using the internet ever since but it was only in April of 2006 that I realized just how powerful this medium is. It just goes to show how much potential for expansion it has.

Although the internet has its great points… it also has a downside… it also exposes users like you and me to unscrupulous individuals who want to take advantage of unsuspecting people.

Have you ever received an email telling you that you’ve won millions of dollars in an online lottery? Well, this shows the extent up to which these guys will go… just to dupe you.

This brings me to why I started this blog.

Primarily, I wanted a site which I can use to advertise as an affiliate of great and helpful products.

Secondly, I want to offer readers a “heads-up” on the products I’m promoting.

Normally, you have to buy the product first, use it, and see for yourself if it’s what the seller says it is. Even though most of the time, sellers offer a “limited no questions asked money back guarantee”, you still would have wasted your precious time in doing so. Plus, there is always the chance that you’ll fall prey to some con artist trying to sell you garbage.

Sometimes you don’t have a choice… no matter how much research you do, there seems to be no review on the product you want to buy.

It’s normally a good sign, since nobody’s talking about it, but it’s not a sure way to know that the product is good and worth it. So I thought, “Why not make reviews for products available in the internet?”

I can’t possibly review all the products available in the internet, but I could give reviews of products which I have bought and used myself.

What I want to provide is an objective review that could help interested buyers to make an intelligent decision.

I am going to be as objective as possible with my reviews but I don’t want you to take my word for it… do more research by all means. I just hope to give readers an overview of what to expect plus my personal experiences in using the product.

There’s just one problem… you don’t know me! Why should you believe what I say? Why should you waste your time reading my stuff? Or better yet, how do you know I’m not a con artist myself? Well, to be honest, there’s no way for you to know for sure.

All I can say is, don’t take my word for anything that’s written here. I’m not a guru or anything like that. I’m just a normal Joe… who wants to offer people an opportunity to make an educated decision.

Time is essential to building trust. And I look forward to that day when people will talk about my blog site and say, “You can trust that site.”

Until then, I’ll continue providing meaningful and helpful content in my blogs. I hope I didn’t bore you to death with this one. Expect a lot more to come.

Thank you for your time! It was a pleasure sharing this blog… for whatever its worth.

Cheers,

Eric Delos Santos

P.S. If you feel that my post is too long, my apologies. It’s my first blog and I never thought I could write this much!

ditto
