Hey guys! My laptop crashed a few days ago and I had to reformat it. Luckily I was able to save most of my files which I store on folder D:\, which is different from my systems folder. I always partition the drives of my computer and use one folder for system files and the other for my documents and other important files.

If I were you, I’d format my drives in the same way. So that in the event that you need to reformat your computer, you can at least save the files folder.

As it is, I still lost all my applications which is in my c:\ folder. I still have a long way before I can put back all my applications in place but at least I can access my emails and my blog now. I can tell you from previous experiences that this needs a lot of work! And there’s no going around it…

I can’t believe how dependent I am on my computer. Well, that’s the 21st century for you… more and more people are becoming dependent to their computers… lol!

I’ll keep you posted on the progress of my laptop’s recovery.
